Hot, Muggy and Thoughts of Fall

Hot is an understatement around here. Fire season is more than upon us as of today Santa Ana winds in the forcast and all we want to do is dress nice, but can't. Started the day with a big oversized t-shirt with the local college name plastered across the front of it and orange Puma shorts going for a run, walk with the stroller brigade.
Later, after showering had to go with only a blue cami until time to add another layer of an old I.M. from Target five years ago of blues and green circles and lines print shirt for lunch out. A sloppish look cause I barely buttoned the blouse and wore yesterdays cargo shorts, earrings and hair clips.
But that all changed when I had to go out this evening to an air-conditioned professional type enviroment. There is an Old Navy shirt, black with white pinstripes in threes that I see on men all the time although this one is a woman's shirt and it looks really good. But I wore the river sandals and baggy white weird length chinos, that hit just below the knee so I fold up the three inch hem one fold directly over the knee. The clips stayed and so did the hardly buttoning shirt feeling over an old tired cami of all day. Time to do laundry or just too rushed to change?
