The girl says….
What I was wearing …
A shawl with matching underwear , a black card board hat and ribbons for my teeth. I did not realize my eyes were sparkling from the glitter until I looked in the mirror. My feet were painted rainbows and had on flip flops the size of a big painting. They flipped and flopped and flipped and flopped. A Glove made of peacocks feathers and a goats pelt on one hand. A headband under my hat, again made out of cardboard. On the other hand bracelets that did not fit me made of jewels and monopoly pieces. I balanced a jug of water on my shoulders and a pet koala on my back. I had little earrings as big as an apple times two. They were made from shoes but more sparkly. I had three rings on one hand, the other twelve. I had one nose ring and a bright, bright green bag over my shoulder with imprints of monkeys and little fish all over the cover. On my clothes there were pictures of houses and America actual size. My pants were regular, what a shame! …and that is what I was wearing.
