Peasant Day

On Friday there was such hope the repair man would finally show that no one was using the phone and everyone stayed home not to miss him. No one came so we gave up hope then he showed up at one just before we were about to leave on some errands as two kids were home for the day also.
Feeling a little blah the perfect anecdote is the peasant blouse because it always looks fresh and pretty. But I had to iron it in the hundred degree weather but it was worth it.
Thinking more about the Tea I forgot to mention the accessories of a scarf from a street vendor in nyc of Rome attractions in lilacs and golds with some highlights of blue. It was tied very loosely to a little black purse that literally fell off a truck in Brooklyn for one of my Birthdays when I was pregnant because two other much bigger bags fell off too. An artist friend worked as a trim designer for an accessories company and had these great samples that are still my favorite bags.
But the other women at the Tea looked pretty amazing and I will share their looks tomorrow.
