The little blue dress has the perfect neckline... the same one I have been wearing all summer. I have to find the designers' name printed in rust ink on the hem and post her here. I met her at a flea market listening to her bemoan the pitfalls of trying to get these super cute lightweight cotton dresses into stores.
This time I wore Kenneth Cole chunky black sandals from at least ten years ago. Though they are charcoal with a faint snakeskin print with three little buckles. Funny I did not wear them much until this year and now they seem to go with everything. Finally got to wear a big necklace by the jewelry designer Heather Colmar of a rust colored geode on a circular chain. My mother was wearing the same jewelry designers' more refined style necklace.
Later, on this hot sweaty day I wore another IM white crinkled cotton blouse from three years ago over a yellow cami and navy Ann Taylor pencil skirt that sits on the hips with white stitching all over the details giving it the ultimate put together sporty look. Comfort and coolness was essential so we paired this outfit with Sketcher huaraches and hoops. Big red ring.
